Tuition

 

Families with multiple children struggle to pay the tuition prices even at the primary school level. Karfiguéla is a rural village so 95% of families earn their income solely from small gardens and rice production. Families earn an average of approximately $300 USD a year.

 

Sababou works closely with Karfiguéla's primary school, as well as local secondary schools to make direct tuition payments on behalf of the youth of Karfiguéla. We are currently focused on paying for elementary school and middle school tuition for all students who live in Karfiguéla, but would like to expand to high school students in the future.
