About Us
Our Story
​
Abou Koné has a story similar to children you may find in Karfiguéla today. He was the only one of his siblings to be educated at all and he was forced to stop his education during his 8th-grade year due to lack of finances. Many families experience this same financial strain that causes early dropouts still today.
Mission

To provide educational and/or vocational opportunities to the youth of Karfiguéla, Burkina Faso.

Our work is done in the West African village of Karfiguéla, in the country of Burkina Faso.
Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is comprised of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and other people passionate about the education of children in Karfiguéla.

Our community partners are teachers at the elementary school in Karfiguéla and community volunteers who are leaders and stakeholders in the education of their village.
